PFS Associate Firm

We are pleased to be accredited as one of the PFS’ new Associate firms, after demonstrating our values of professionalism and placing the client at the heart of what we do.

Being an “Associate Firm” means a lot to us. Our new status will serve as a formal signal that we adopt the professional standards set by the PFS and of our commitment to the PFS core principles and shared vision. 

Over half our team is qualified at Chartered level but we have previously been unable to get formal recognition as a chartered firm as we do not provide a “full financial planning service”. This has now changed, and the new associate membership will allow us to publicly demonstrate our affiliation with the PFS in a way that we haven’t been able to before. 

Paraplanning is a critical part of the financial planning process, and outsourcing it includes delegating the responsibility of research, technical calculations and analysis as well as transferring confidential client information to a third party. Advisers should conduct due diligence when considering outsourcing. Selecting a firm with associate status will help demonstrate that the paraplanners adhere to high professional standards.
