Parafinity is helping empower teenagers to get to grips with money management.

Suzanna Pajak, COO of Parafinity has been formally appointed as Education Champion for Personal Finance Skills (Bristol & Cheltenham region).

My Personal Finance Skills, (work of the Personal Finance Society) provides free financial education workshops to schools across the country to help students understand more about money and leave school ‘life-ready’.

Focused around students aged 11 to 18 years old, sessions form part of life skill development, alongside the more academic curriculum. In the Academic Year 2022-23, MyPFS provided over 700 free financial education sessions to over 26,000 students nationwide, equipping them with the skills and mindset to better manage their money.

“It’s great to be part of this programme, giving teenagers an insight into money management. As a mum to a teenager, I know first hand how valuable this can be. Whilst the curriculum covers the numbers, we add the practical detail. From planning future finances and moving on from school, to staying safe from scams and understanding decision making and risk – sessions are designed to engage and inspire young adults, leaving them feeling equipped to manage their money better”.
